I trained at The Slade School of Fine Art in the Seventies then as an art teacher and I worked in secondary schools in Essex, Cornwall and Devon before starting to pursue my own art full time. I now live in North Devon where I draw trees and woods on a large scale with fine artist’s pens and use scans of the drawings to produce high quality giclee prints and a range of greetings cards which we sell in Bookshops and Arboretums in the UK (and two in the USA - so far!). My drawings may take up to a month to complete and when I can I exhibit with The South West Academy mainly in Devon as well as one or two other venues also in the South West. My drawings and prints are in homes around the world and I receive many lovely comments from customers (see some below).
My prints and cards are backed by a guarantee that if you are not completely satisfied and return them safely to me, I will issue a full refund.
Please use the contact form on the contact page to message me - I'll get back to you the same day.
"Thank you Sarah, I am excited about receiving my parcel....I saw a print of yours in my local gallery/framing shop, and it stopped me in my tracks." March 2017
"What's even better, is that we've had this big empty wall waiting for years for the right picture to go on it - and we knew yours would have been it, if only we'd bought one of your pictures right then and there when we saw it. Now, finally, we can put the pictures we've been waiting for in the space that has been waiting for them!" Dec 2016
"Thank you so much Sarah. They are fantastic! The detail makes you think you are there and can feel the bark." Feb 2017
"The print came this morning and it is even better than I expected - the eye is really drawn into the shapes and then the details. I want it to go in my living room on the (fake) chimney breast. I wanted something to be large and really eye catching, and this picture definitely fits the bill. I am taking it to the framers tomorrow - all my pictures get a simple plain wood frame, and are set on white walls. The previous prints which I bought are in my long hall - they have been admired several times." Feb 2017
